This towel is the evolution of the Amphibian Mini glass towel. It started with an experiment flipping the plush side of the Amphibian inside-out (an idea from Andy Ward of KxK). 

With a twist pile on one side for the initial cleaning and a smooth glass polishing material on the opposite side for the final wipe to remove residual moisture and streaks.
